Working On The New Site Design

The site upgrade is coming along. The new logo took some time to work out but I’m happy with it so far. I’ve got the new site design working in the development area and debugging it as I go along. I’ve got some plans on cleaning up the link listings, which I’m working on right now, and so far they seem to be working out well. The over all clean up is looking way better than I had planned.

The one thing that concerns me is how to use the “parent pages” with the sub pages. Still working on how I want that to work that out. The new “personal” blog will give me a chance to put forth my opinions, rants and “moments” in my life rather than on the main site.

I will, of course, expound on my trips, of which there will be many as well as give my views on the gear that I’ve been using as well as the new gear that I pick up. It looks to be a busy year this year with the trips that I have planned as well as the friends I plan on seeing. I’m also considering doing some winter hikes this year instead of sitting around trying to catch up on my reading, or the things that I’ve put off until “after the season”.

I guess that’s all for now…
